About

This is a Network Analyst position, primarily providing remote network support services to facilities in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME), as well as globally when required. The EAME Network services team provides LAN/WLAN/WAN incident and project support to all facilities in EAME. The position will report to the EAME Network Services Supervisor, based in the UK.

The successful candidate will primarily provide Level 2/3 Network helpdesk support to EAME-based facilities, including factories, offices, and warehouses. Secondary functions include small project LAN design and supporting regional facilities with request fulfillment and advice. Training will be provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience with Cisco Network Technologies
• Cisco CCNA Qualification
• Second language is an advantage

Knowledge

• Familiarity with Cisco technologies including IOS upgrades, WLC controller configuration, Cisco Router and Switch configuration
• Understanding of firewall designs
• Knowledge of related technologies such as DNS and DHCP
• Fault finding skills
• Good documentation skills
• Basic knowledge of ticketing software (Remedy/Peregrine)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Putty, and other network tools
