Job summary

Folkestone and Hythe District Council’s Housing Team seeks a Retrofit & Net Zero Manager to lead its established Retrofit team and oversee delivery of capital works projects that improve energy efficiency and support Net Zero targets. The role requires strong project and contract management, with knowledge of retrofit surveys, EPC RdSAP modelling, ventilation, and working within occupied social housing.

• Knowledge of retrofit surveys, EPC RdSAP modelling, ventilation requirements in occupied social housing.
• Strong project and contract management experience.
• Ability to lead a team of Retrofit Surveyors and coordinate capital workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Retrofit team and oversee delivery of existing capital works programmes.
• Procure and manage service provider performance; monitor progress and report to stakeholders.
• Drive energy efficiency improvements to support net zero targets across housing stock.
