Worthing Homes is seeking a collaborative Sustainability Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to drive low-carbon retrofit, energy efficiency and biodiversity improvements across our housing portfolio. You will embed sustainability in decision-making, monitor performance and work with procurement, operations, and development teams to secure investment.

Qualifications

• Collaborative sustainability professional with experience delivering carbon reduction, energy efficiency or sustainability projects in housing, property, construction or related built environment.
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles, energy and water efficiency measures, and fuel poverty approaches.
• Knowledge of the affordable housing sector is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Worthing Homes' sustainability objectives and support transition to net zero.
• Embed sustainability into decision-making and lead on performance monitoring and reporting.
• Manage projects focused on low carbon retrofit, energy efficiency and biodiversity improvements; support development team with low-carbon new homes.
• Build relationships with grant funders, local authorities, contractors and sector partners to secure investment.
