Job summary

Net Zero Careers is seeking a Site Manager to oversee residential retrofit and energy efficiency projects in occupied homes. You will manage day-to-day site delivery, supervise crews, and coordinate multiple trades while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a strong construction background, experience in social housing or refurbishment, and excellent communication with residents and stakeholders. A full UK driving licence and CSCS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering retrofit or refurbishment projects.
• Proven track record in social housing environments and occupied properties.
• Strong leadership and clear communication with residents and teams.
• Ability to read construction drawings and programmes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of retrofit and refurbishment projects.
• Supervise site operatives, subcontractors and installation teams.
• Coordinate trades and ensure works meet programme and safety standards.
• Review drawings, specifications and schedules for compliance.
• Monitor progress and report on performance against milestones.
• Act as primary site contact for residents, clients and housing reps.
