Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity; we have a vacancy on the Neonatal Transfer Service London for Senior Band 6 nurses with a minimum of 3 years tertiary (level 3) NICU experience to apply for positions on London's only dedicated neonatal transfer service.
Come and join us to learn and develop your skills and knowledge towards becoming an experienced neonatal transport nurse, caring for a range of sick neonates who require transfer across the London area and beyond. This career path will allow you to develop your portfolio, gain experience working within a small team setting, and stabilise and transfer some of the sickest babies across London and the wider counties.
You will also become established on the single-clinician led High/Low Dependency transfer team.
If successful, you would be welcomed into a friendly team consisting of 3 Neonatal Consultants, specialist registrars/clinical fellows, a Matron, PDN, and experienced transport nurses. These team members are complemented by technicians from St John Ambulance Service.
You will commence with an induction programme and ride-out shifts with support. Shifts include rotation between dual and single clinician teams, days (including a twilight team), nights, and weekends. Full and part-time options can be discussed. The post holder will lead by example as an expert specialist neonatal nurse on the Neonatal Transfer Team for London. To work as part of a team in facilitating neonatal transfers across London and the Southeast.
