Job Opportunity: Band 6 Neonatal Nurse/Midwife

A vacancy has arisen in the Neonatal Unit, Kirkcaldy, for a Band 6 Neonatal Nurse/Midwife.

We are a Level 2 Neonatal Unit, comprising 4 ITU, 2 High Dependency, and 11 Special Care cots.

Currently, we have 4 qualified Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and 2 Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high standards of neonatal care using a holistic, family-centered approach.
2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practice.
3. Ensure the delivery of clinically effective neonatal care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recognized neonatal qualification.
• Experience working within a neonatal unit.

Additional Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme prior to appointment.
