NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Band 6 Clinical Educator for Aberdeen Neonatal Unit at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital. The role involves leading induction, preceptorship, competency assessment and ongoing professional development to support high standards of neonatal care.

You will work with nursing, medical and multidisciplinary colleagues to promote education, evidence-based practice and workforce improvement, ensuring staff maintain clinical competence aligned with national standards.

Competenze

• Registered Nurse (Child, Adult or Midwifery as appropriate) with Neonatal QIS qualification is required.
• Experience in neonatal intensive, high dependency and special care nursing is essential.
• Passionate about education, professional development and workforce improvement.
