Somerset NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Clinical Practice Educator for its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to lead learning, mentor staff, and maintain clinical expertise. You will develop induction programmes, supervise learners, and drive education alongside service development in a family-centred neonatal environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading education and staff development in neonatal care.
• Proven ability to design and deliver induction and CPD programmes.
• Experience supervising students and trainees with constructive feedback.
• Clinical role modeling to promote best neonatal practice.

Responsabilités

• Lead learning and clinical competence across the neonatal service.
• Coordinate induction, preceptorship, teaching days, and CPD activities.
• Support pre-registration and post-registration learners with supervision and feedback.
• Act as a clinical role model promoting high standards of care.
• Support families through the neonatal journey and promote family-integrated care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on education aligned to service needs.
• Participate in audits, QI initiatives, and service development projects.
