Job summary

PA Housing in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Team Manager to lead neighbourhood services across a region. You will oversee teams, driving visible, responsive and customer-focused services to support thriving communities.

You will lead by example, fostering accountability, ownership and community engagement, shaping services to reflect residents' needs and ensuring they remain central to decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a customer-focused housing or neighbourhood team.
• Strong leadership skills with coaching and developing others.
• Understanding housing management and neighbourhood services, including relevant legislation.
• Ability to build relationships with residents, contractors, external partners.
• Experience managing performance and customer satisfaction.
• Confident handling complaints and resolving complex issues.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Able to analyse performance information to inform service improvements.
• Understand contract management and monitoring contractor performance.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Neighbourhood Coordinators to deliver excellent local services
• Create a visible and proactive neighbourhood presence, building strong relationships with residents and communities
• Monitor team performance and service standards, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and operational delivery
• Support and empower teams to take ownership of local issues and make decisions that positively impact communities
• Build strong partnerships with internal teams, contractors, local authorities, and community organisations
• Attend community meetings and local events, acting as a key contact for residents and stakeholders
• Oversee low level tenancy management activity including tenancy visits, tenancy audits, and iPeeps to ensure they are completed to a high standard
• Support responses to MP, Councillor, and Housing Ombudsman enquiries where required
• Monitor local budgets and community engagement spend to ensure value for money
• Encourage innovation and challenge traditional approaches to improve neighbourhood services
