Job summary

Lancashire County Council is recruiting a Delivery Centre Support Worker for the Early Help Service – Education and Children’s Services. Location: Fylde and Wyre. Salary: £25,185–£25,989. Grade 4.

Permanent, full-time (37 hours) with part-time 29.6 hours pro rata. You will help create welcoming spaces for families and communities, manage bookings, and signpost service users. Join a team dedicated to safeguarding, health and safety, and high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors to neighbourhood centres.
• Support bookings, appointments, and service user records using IT systems.
• Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment, including basic checks and displays.
• Provide information and signposting to families and service users.
• Occasionally support group sessions to ensure smooth delivery and appropriate supervision.
