Job summary

Talent Link is recruiting for experienced NEC/ECC Project Managers to join a major UK water and infrastructure organisation in the East of England on a hybrid basis.

You will lead contract management of NEC3/4 ECC and PSC contracts, implement assurance frameworks, and drive commercial best practice across delivery routes while mentoring junior team members and supporting governance groups.

Qualifications

• HND or Degree in construction, engineering, or science related discipline.
• NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager accreditation.
• Experience in contract and commercial management within a design and construction environment.
• Proven working knowledge of NEC contract management tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management and administration of NEC3/4 ECC and PSC contracts.
• Implement contract management strategies and assurance frameworks across the supply chain.
• Manage change control, risk reviews, and contractual issue resolution.
• Oversee project and framework performance through governance, reporting and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with payment assessments, final accounts, and procurement processes.
• Foster collaboration across Alliance partners, delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and embed commercial best practice across delivery routes.
• Mentor junior team members including Assistant ECC Project Managers.
• Participate in portfolio boards and governance groups for key decisions.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across activities.

A leading UK water and infrastructure organisation is seeking experienced NEC/ECC Project Managers to join their commercial operations team in the East of England on a hybrid basis.

These are exciting opportunities to play a key role in delivering a major capital investment programme, managing NEC3/4 ECC and PSC contracts.

Responsibilities for NEC/ECC Project Manager:

• Lead robust contract management and administration of NEC3/4 ECC and PSC contracts.
• Implement contract management strategies and assurance frameworks across the supply chain
• Manage change control, early warnings, risk reduction meetings, and resolution of contractual issues
• Oversee project and framework performance through governance, reporting, and performance reviews
• Ensure compliance with payment assessments, final accounts, and procurement processes
• Foster a collaborative culture across Alliance partners, delivery teams, and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and embed commercial best practice across delivery routes
• Support and mentor junior team members including Assistant ECC Project Managers
• Participate in portfolio boards and governance groups, contributing to key decision making
• Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities

Requirements for NEC/ECC Project Manager:

• HND or Degree in construction, engineering, or science related discipline
• NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager accreditation
• Demonstrable experience in contract and commercial management within a design and construction environment
• Proven working knowledge of NEC contract management tools and processes
• Experience carrying out assurance activities within an NEC contract environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercial thinking with the ability to challenge and drive value for money outcomes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
