Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services in London is seeking an experienced Contract Manager with specialist NEC expertise to join a major infrastructure project. You will oversee the NEC contract, provide contractual advice to project teams and support the successful delivery of a complex programme.

Working closely with senior commercial leadership, you’ll become the project’s contract expert, manage notices, events and change, review clauses, and ensure alignment of subcontract agreements with

Qualifications

  • Extensive NEC3 or NEC4 contract management experience.
  • Experience administering Prime Contracts on major infrastructure projects.
  • Main contractor or Joint Venture background.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and contractual risk.
  • Experience managing client-facing contractual matters.
  • Construction law knowledge is advantageous.
  • HS2 or major infrastructure experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the NEC main contract.

Job description

Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + Excellent Package

We’re looking for an experienced Contract Manager with specialist NEC expertise to join a major infrastructure project in London.

Unlike a traditional Commercial Manager role, this position is focused on protecting the client’s contractual position through effective administration of the main contract, contractual compliance and proactive management of change.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing the main NEC contract, providing contractual advice to project teams and supporting the successful delivery of a complex infrastructure programme.

Working closely with senior commercial leadership, you’ll become the subject matter expert for contractual matters across the project.
