We are recruiting a Senior Contract Management professional who will lead contract management across NEC (ECC/PSC) contracts in large investment portfolios, ensuring compliance, value and delivery outcomes while working from our Peterborough or UK bases.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead contract management across portfolios: Oversee the administration and performance of NEC (ECC/PSC) contracts across Tier 1 Alliances, managing large investment portfolios and ensuring compliance, value and delivery outcomes.
• Own ECC PM delegated duties and decision-making: Discharge Project Manager responsibilities under the contract, acting as a key decision-maker, managing risk, change and contractual issues across programmes.
• Drive governance, assurance and performance: Lead portfolio governance processes, provide performance reporting and insights, ensure delivery against contractual obligations, and escalates issues for resolution.
• Manage and develop the ECC PM team: Manage and mentor ECC Project Managers, ensuring consistent delivery of contract management activities and developing capability aligned to the NEC competency framework.
• Influence stakeholders and promote collaboration: Engage across Alliances, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to drive a collaborative, proactive culture and resolve competing priorities effectively.
• Set strategy and drive continuous improvement: Develop and implement contract management and assurance strategies, embedding best practice, improving ways of working, and driving efficiency and outperformance across programmes.
• Discharge specific ECC PM delegations under the contract (disallowed costs assessments, issuance of Completion and defect certificates, undertaking ECC PM actions regarding early warnings, managing changes, dealing with defects etc.)
• Managing early warning process and risk reduction meetings.
• Become a quorate member at portfolio boards and manage governance and change requests.
• Engaging internal and external stakeholders to ensure management of portfolios.
• Undertaking client’s assurance activities - Final Account reviews, Defined Cost assessments, Tier 2 contract reviews etc.
• Drafting and reviewing works orders etc.
• Supporting the team in complex contractual issue with supplier etc.

You’ll Need To Have

• ECC PM accreditation.
• Solid experience in client-side portfolio and contract management, stakeholder management, NEC contract provisions and team management.
