Responsibilities
  • Conduct non-destructive testing on various materials and structures using NDT methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and magnetic particle testing.
  • Analyse test results and generate accurate reports to communicate findings to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards during all testing procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to determine appropriate NDT methods for specific applications.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal testing performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inspection plans and procedures.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices in NDT practices and safety protocols.
  • Valid NDT certification from a recognized body in relevant methods such as UT, RT, MT, and PT.
  • Proven experience as an NDT Technician in the Oil & Energy sector or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards such as ASNT, AWS, and API.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in inspection processes.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and management.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including offshore or remote locations, as required.
