Description

Our client, over the last 40 years, has built an outstanding reputation within the oil, gas, chemical processing, and energy sectors, manufacturing and distributing performance alloys and components for some of the most challenging conditions and locations in the world. As a result of their continuous growth, they are seeking an NDT Technician to join their team. While based at their Stockport site, you will be part of a network of sites across the UK. Globally, they operate in 6 countries with 10 locations, sourcing high-quality raw materials to produce excellent finished products.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. NDE inspection using approved techniques and methods to defined standards, ensuring materials are inspected and released with no NCRs.
2. Assist the Technical Manager in training personnel and trainees.
3. Manage NDE consumables and calibrated equipment.
4. Participate in 3rd party witness inspections.
5. Perform in-house and on-site NDT techniques as required by the customer at all stages of the production process.
6. Ensure materials are inspected and released with no NCRs.

Qualifications Required:

• ASTN and/or PCN Level 2 certification.
• Experience with MT, PT, and UT techniques.

Proof of qualifications may be requested before an interview is considered.

This role is not suitable for recent graduates seeking sponsorship before 2031.
