Job summary

Cirrus Selection Limited in Bristol is seeking a Systems Integration and Trials Engineer for Naval Air Defence. You will drive trials from lab to sea, coordinating with systems engineering and design teams, and handling data analysis and readiness reviews.

The role involves UK and overseas travel, security clearance eligibility, and a mix of laboratory to field testing across naval air defence platforms.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in systems integration, test, or trials work in a safety-critical environment.
• Comfortable working across electrical, mechanical, or electronic interfaces.
• Confident communicating with engineers, subcontractors, and management alike.

Responsibilities

• Plan, generate, and execute trials alongside systems engineering and design teams
• Investigate and resolve design issues using real trials data
• Run post trials data analysis and write up findings
• Prepare and deliver Trials Readiness Reviews, internally and externally
• Get involved across the full range of testing, laboratory integration, ground trials, harbour and sea trials, firing trials, including some conducted abroad
• Support lab management, including risk assessments, asset control, and safety
