Job summary

QinetiQ, Bristol site, seeks a Technical Lead - Complex Trials to lead and deliver challenging defence trials within the Mission Rehearsal team. You’ll coordinate air, UAS, weapon systems and emerging tech with MOD and industry partners, shaping trial objectives and execution from concept to closure.

This role is based at our Bristol site, 37 hours per week, with travel to ranges and customer locations. Applicants must obtain SC clearance; UK locations may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Define Trial objectives, requirements and success criteria.
• Develop Trial strategies and execution plans.
• Coordinate technical inputs from multiple disciplines.
• Manage risks, assumptions, dependencies and constraints.
• Produce and review Trial documentation and evidence.
• Lead technical reviews and readiness activities.
• Deploy to ranges and customer sites.
• Coordinate technical teams, range staff and customers.
• Lead live Trial events and demonstrations.
• Capture outcomes and lessons learned.
