Job summary

Capita is delivering training for the Royal Navy in weapons engineering. The role involves teaching maintenance principles and fault-finding of Royal Navy electronic systems, supporting a team of instructors, and delivering classes up to 16 students in size.

It is a full-time, term-time position with security clearance requirements and proximity to Portsmouth. The role focuses on applying electrical engineering principles, continuous improvement, and student development to help sailors progress

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification Level 3 or proven experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Level 4 teaching certificate or equivalent.
• Understanding of Royal Navy Weapons Engineering.
• Teaching, instructing or coaching experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance principles and fault-finding training for Royal Navy electronic systems.
• Teach up to 16 students per class.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development and a team of 10 Instructors.
• Support driving continuous improvement and learning.
