Job summary

McGeoch Technology Ltd. is recruiting an Electrical Production Engineer for our Birmingham-based production, assembly and test facility. You will ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient production of naval electrical systems, adhering to defence safety standards while supporting company growth.

You will mentor teams, work with design, production, purchasing and quality departments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical assembly within regulated/high-reliability industry (defence, marine, aerospace).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with electrical control systems, bespoke panel solutions, switchboards, motor drives or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacture and assembly of naval electrical equipment to drawings, specs and standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Review engineering information to ensure manufacturability and introduce new products efficiently.
