Job summary

McGeoch Technology Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Production Engineer to join our Birmingham-based production, assembly and test facility.

You will be the subject matter expert on electrical matters, ensuring high-quality, compliant production of naval electrical systems in a defence context. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, support new product introductions and maintain manufacturing documentation, while mentoring electricians and panel Wirers in a

Qualifications

Experience in electrical assembly within regulated/high-reliability industry (defence, marine, aerospace).
Able to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Experience mentoring others in a production/assembly team.
Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Support the manufacture and assembly of naval electrical equipment to drawings, specs and standards.
Work with production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
Review engineering information to ensure manufacturability.
Support new product introduction and engineering changes.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (SSOW).
Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and processes.
Collaborate with design, production, purchasing and quality teams to deliver projects.
