Job summary

Lloyd's Register International is seeking an Education and Community Officer (maternity cover) at Far Ings National Nature Reserve. You will join the education and visitor centre team to deliver a programme of environmental education and nature-connectedness activities for schools, colleges and universities and our family nature clubs, while providing an excellent visitor experience.

You should have environmental education teaching experience, be IT literate, and have good knowledge of wildlife

Qualifications

• Some environmental education teaching experience.
• Good working knowledge of wildlife and environmental issues.
• Outgoing personality.
• IT literacy.
• Experience in basic administration.
• Willing to undergo a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver environmental education and nature-connectedness activities for schools, colleges, universities and family nature clubs.
• Provide an excellent visitor experience to reserve visitors.
• Work as part of the education and visitor centre team.
• Support wider visitor management and events.
• Communicate effectively with people of all ages and abilities.
