Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited is seeking an HGV Driver to join the National Road Planing team. Based at the Rand office near Market Rasen, the role requires national travel and occasional overnight stays. You will work a 40-hour week with variable patterns including days, evenings, nights and short-notice changes.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV driver with a strong safety focus.
• Understanding of road transport regulations and safe delivery.
• Willingness to stay away during the week as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular checks on lorries and trailers, reporting defects promptly to the fitter and office.
• Plan journeys in accordance with delivering on time, safely and legally.
• Record planing loads and tip details on load transfer tickets and return them to the office.
• Liaise with the Planer Foreman and Operatives to ensure teamwork on site.
• Transport planed materials from site to designated tipping locations.
