Job summary

phs Compliance is seeking a Sales Director to lead its national sales function, strengthen customer relationships and shape the next phase of growth across the business. You will set the national sales strategy, drive profitability and oversee a high-performing team.

The role requires senior B2B leadership, experience in services, strong commercial judgement on pricing and bids, and the ability to build senior client relationships and influence across the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in senior B2B sales leadership.
• Experience in business services or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to grow profitable revenue and improve margins.
• Strong go-to-market, pricing, and bid strategy judgement.
• Experience leading complex bids and multi-stakeholder processes.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver the national sales strategy and annual plan, driving profitable growth.
• Ensure sales structure, territories, roles, incentives and support functions align with strategy.
• Translate priorities into sector propositions and focused sales plans.
• Lead and develop a high-performing national sales team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Strengthen strategic account planning and executive-level relationships to improve retention and value.
• Own pipeline health, CRM discipline and forecast accuracy, using data to identify risks and opportunities.
