AWD Online is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership across nationwide construction projects in a specialist structural steel environment, focusing on cost control, risk management and value throughout the project lifecycle.

You will manage subcontract accounts and documentation, work closely with clients, subcontractors and colleagues, and contribute to valuations, claims, forecasting and contractual advice.

Qualifications

• Prior construction experience is essential.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge for construction projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and internal colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Commercial Project Management: Manage all commercial aspects across multiple projects nationwide.
• Subcontract Documentation: Analyse and agree subcontract terms and conditions, warranties and bonds.
• Valuations, Variations and Claims: Prepare and submit variations, claims and measures for interim valuations and final accounts.
• Cost and Revenue Monitoring: Monitor cost and revenue performance and forecast cashflow.
• Commercial and Contractual Advice: Provide guidance to internal colleagues and external clients.
• Subcontract Accounts: Agree subcontractor accounts.
• Client and Site Liaison: Attend sites nationwide and liaise with clients and subcontractors.
