Job summary

Mane is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a nationwide portfolio of projects across the UK and Europe. You will manage all commercial and contractual aspects, with a focus on subcontractor accounts, variations, and final accounts.

You will work with internal teams and external stakeholders to control costs, assess risks, and maximise profitability across multiple projects. A background in structural steelwork is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in Quantity Surveying in construction.
• Experience in subcontractor accounting, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Strong commercial and contractual management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects.
• Review and agree subcontract documentation including terms and bonds.
• Prepare and submit variations, claims and measurements for interim valuations and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and cash flow forecasts.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to teams and stakeholders.
• Attend sites nationwide to liaise with stakeholders.
