Job summary

CEVA Logistics UK&I is seeking a Central Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across a national portfolio. Based at the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Head Office with nationwide travel, you will provide strategic direction and leadership across new business implementations and wider business change.

You will shape national standards, improve system utilisation, and embed scalable best practice while protecting service, cost, quality and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Commercially minded and influential operations leader with multi-site logistics experience.
• Experience in new business implementations, challenging contracts and process excellence.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with data-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance across service, financial, KPI, customer and colleague targets.
• Identify risks and lead recovery and improvement plans to strengthen service delivery and contract profitability.
• Establish and continuously improve national operating standards, promoting consistency, process compliance and best practice.
• Identify and mitigate risks relating to service, cost, health and safety, quality, compliance and customer commitments.
