Job description

Head Hunted Recruitment is working exclusively with an award-winning business that is one of the largest in its sector, boasting a strong market presence. The company is hiring an experienced and driven National & Key Accounts Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join their expanding team.

The National & Key Accounts Sales & Marketing Coordinator will assist the National Accounts Administrator and Managing Director in managing and developing selected national and key accounts to identify and drive opportunities through the business. You will contribute to developing the business sales strategy to achieve company objectives, sales, and targets.

This role requires excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with both customers and internal teams.

This is a key position within the team and would suit an individual who has experience in a similar role within a successful SME or similar organization.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and report customer EPOS data, identify trends, and highlight sales opportunities with Sales Management and directly with National and Key Accounts.
  2. Support Sales Management and Fulfilment Teams with data/reports on stock availability, pricing, and sales to improve forecasting accuracy and ensure timely stock availability.
  3. Develop relationships with all National and Key Accounts, ensuring they receive excellent administrative support.
  4. Champion key customer initiatives (e.g., new product introductions) and projects (e.g., events) with internal teams to ensure efficient delivery.
  5. Manage product listings on National and Key Account web shops, drop ship activity, and marketplace sites, monitoring sales, stock, and orders.
  6. Manage meetings and range review calendars, record minutes, and follow up on actions.
  7. Monitor and report on competitor activity online and in-store.
  8. Maintain an accurate CRM database for all National and Key Accounts.
  9. Occasionally visit stores or attend off-site customer meetings.
Person Specifications & Skills:
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident and effective in interactions.
  2. Proficiency in Maths and English with an understanding of basic financial principles.
  3. Strong administrative background, preferably in sales, with experience in analytical roles.
  4. Experience implementing new processes and creating business documents.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  6. Ability to create, run, analyze reports, and communicate findings to management.
  7. Experience with reporting systems and document creation.
  8. Ability to analyze target markets and conduct competitive research.
  9. Persistent, flexible, and proactive approach to challenges.
  10. Experience with database management and familiarity with business software.
  11. Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
  12. Innovative, self-motivated, with influencing and motivating skills.
  13. Creative problem-solving abilities.
  14. Experience in minute-taking is preferred.
  15. Experience with online platforms is advantageous but not essential.

This position is office-based with a salary of GBP 35,000 - 38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
