Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Sales Specialist to join our Infrastructure, Modern Work & Security (IMWS) team. This role is primarily focused on generating new business and securing net new logo wins. Once a client is onboarded, they will transition to our account management team for ongoing support and development.

Role Focus:

Security While a comprehensive understanding of the broader IMWS landscape is essential, your primary focus will be on Security. You will lead with a security-first approach, identifying and addressing business challenges with innovative security solutions. This is a key growth area for our organization, and we are looking for a proactive individual who can drive this growth by confidently pitching and closing security-led opportunities

What skills and working characteristics should this person have?

  • Proven experience in sales, within the IT or technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft’s Infrastructure, Modern Work, and Security solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to follow and execute a structured sales process.
  • Understanding and application of defined sales methodologies.
  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline management, with the ability to commit and deliver against sales targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen to articulate business value and outcomes.
  • Skilled in proposal writing and bid coordination.
  • Confident in negotiation with procurement, business owners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Capable of presenting clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to balance competing demands internally and externally.
  • Adaptable approach as situations change or priorities shift.
  • Takes full ownership of personal performance, actions, and outcomes.

As a New Business Security Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Identify and win new business, focusing on organizations with security needs.
  • Qualify and progress leads into well-scoped opportunities.
  • Lead client engagements, presenting security solutions that align with their risk profile and goals.
  • Engage with CISOs, IT leaders, and senior decision-makers with credibility.
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales and technical teams to shape client proposals.
  • Work with marketing on campaigns to drive pipeline in security.
  • Stay current on industry threats, regulatory changes, and vendor developments.
  • Contribute to forecasting and reporting for new business opportunities.
