Alexander James Recruiting is working with a well-established material handling company to recruit a new Key Account Manager to develop their client base nationally. The role offers excellent uncapped commission opportunities and strong growth potential across the UK.

The position focuses on large account development, including tenders, consultative sales for hire and sale of equipment, and active attendance at conferences and networking events.

Qualifications

• Proven sales professional in forklifts or capital equipment.
• Experience dealing with high-level accounts.
• Willingness to cover UK nationwide.
• Proactive in selling and managing large deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer accounts for material handling equipment.
• Acquire new corporate customers targeting accounts of 100+ forklift truck units.
• Produce and work with tenders to win new business.
• Provide a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the hire and sale of material handling and related equipment.
• Attend numerous conferences and networking events.
