Alexander James Recruiting is seeking an experienced sales professional to cover and develop a Midlands-based client base for a leading supplier of capital material handling equipment.

This role offers a competitive salary, uncapped commission, and a company car, with national coverage as needed. You will build relationships, demonstrate products, and drive revenue across the Midlands and beyond.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales, especially of technical capital equipment.
• Ability to understand hydraulics and pneumatics is beneficial.
• Willingness to work with customers over a longer sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing Midlands-based client base and expand across the UK.
• Develop new business and open doors for a range of specialist material handling equipment.
• Provide consultative selling and product demonstrations when required.
• Own region revenue growth and collaborate with service/engineering teams to meet customer needs.
