Job summary

The National HSQE Compliance Officer position offers national coverage across the UK, including Staines, Newcastle and Leeds, with a salary up to £50,000. Qualifications

• Experience in Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental or Compliance roles.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Auditing, inspections and investigations experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willing to travel for the role.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive and proactive health and safety culture across the business.
• Carry out workplace inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
• Support managers with safe systems of work and risk control measures.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 requirements.
• Monitor environmental compliance obligations and permit requirements.
• Undertake environmental inspections and audits.
