Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited is seeking a National HSQE Compliance Officer to cover Staines, Newcastle and Leeds. The role reports to the Director of Operations and focuses on maintaining and improving our management systems while ensuring compliance with legislation, standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities include auditing, safety inspections, and supporting safe systems of work across multiple sites to enhance workplace safety, quality and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental or Compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience carrying out audits, inspections and investigations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Experience maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

• Carry out workplace inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
• Support managers with safe systems of work and risk control measures.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 requirements.
• Monitor environmental compliance obligations and permit requirements.
• Undertake environmental inspections and audits.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, client requirements and company policies.
