Job summary

The National HSQE Compliance Officer position offers national coverage across the UK, including Staines, Newcastle and Leeds, with a salary up to £50,000. You will oversee and improve management systems, ensure compliance with UK legislation, and support across multiple sites to enhance workplace safety, quality and environmental performance.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role requires auditing, inspections, and effective risk management, with travel across sites as needed and

Qualifications

• Experience in Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental or Compliance roles.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Auditing, inspections and investigations experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willing to travel for the role.

• Carry out workplace inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
• Support managers with safe systems of work and risk control measures.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 requirements.

• Undertake environmental inspections and audits.

We are a well-known and established Lift Service, Installation and Repair company. Due to our ever-growing lift service portfolio, we are looking for a HSQE Compliance Officer to cover nationally

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, client requirements and company policies.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSQE professional who enjoys working across multiple sites, engaging with operational teams and making a positive contribution to workplace safety, quality and environmental performance.

• Good working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience carrying out audits, inspections and investigations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Experience maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel for the role
