GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead the HSEQ strategy across national transport sites, supporting around 300 colleagues and embedding a strong safety culture.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive improvements, governance and continuous safety performance across the Marshalls and Marley contracts. This full-time role offers core hours Mon-Fri 08:00–17:00, with flexibility for business needs, covering 16 sites with Midlands base preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HSEQ in transport/logistics across multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk management.
• NEBOSH General Certificate is essential.
• Strategic influencer with senior stakeholders to drive safety outcomes.
• Proven ability to use data to identify trends and reduce risk.

Responsabilités

• Lead the HSEQ strategy across multiple transport sites and partner with senior operational leaders to drive compliance and a positive safety culture.
• Drive safety performance, risk management, audits, inspections and improvement plans to reduce incidents.
• Oversee incident investigations with robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Strengthen compliance and governance through audits, regulatory adherence and customer standards.
• Develop capability, influence stakeholders and coach leaders on safety engagement.
