Field Sales Operations Manager National

Background – FMCG Convenience / RETAIL PHARMACY / FIELD SALES / RETAIL STORES MERCHANDISING

Territory: National | Reference: KSP/COMB

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Field Operations Manager at a national level. The role focuses on managing a field team, driving sales, maintaining high standards in the field, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

The individual will liaise, report, and support the leadership team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading, motivating, and developing the team to achieve store excellence and customer satisfaction.
  2. Ensuring compliance and best practices are followed to the highest standards.
  3. Auditing the field team and conducting field visits as per company expectations.
  4. Providing constructive feedback, addressing poor performance, and celebrating successes.
  5. Coaching, training, and onboarding new team members.
  6. Building relationships with the field team and customers.
  7. Driving sales within the field teams.
  8. Effective time management and report submission.
  9. Excellent communication skills.
Key Requirements
  • Strong integrity, judgment, and influence skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally, approximately 4 days a week in the field.
  • Experience managing field sales teams.
  • Interpersonal skills to develop relationships with teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with good time management.
  • Team player with collaborative skills.
  • Robust, determined, and proactive problem solver.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual skills advantageous.
  • Education up to GCSE level.
  • Experience with retail outlet visits and IT systems (Word, Excel, Email).
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Remuneration
  • Competitive annual salary with an end-of-year bonus.
  • OTE £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
  • Vehicle allowance, business mobile, and laptop.
  • Auto-enrolment pension after 3 months.
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
