Field Sales Operations Manager National

Background: FMCG Convenience / RETAIL PHARMACY / FIELD SALES / RETAIL STORES MERCHANDISING

Territory: National | Reference: KSP/COMB

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Field Operational Manager (National). The role primarily involves managing a field team, driving sales, maintaining high standards, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

This multifaceted role requires the individual to liaise, report, and support the leadership team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading, motivating, and developing the team to achieve store excellence and customer service goals.
  2. Ensuring compliance and best practices are adhered to at all times.
  3. Auditing the field team and conducting field visits as per company standards.
  4. Providing constructive feedback, challenging poor practices, and celebrating successes.
  5. Coaching, training, and onboarding new team members.
  6. Building relationships with the field team and customers.
  7. Driving sales efforts in the field.
  8. Effective time management and report submission.
  9. Maintaining excellent communication skills.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong personal integrity with the ability to influence and make clear judgments.
  • Willingness to travel nationally, approximately 4 days a week in the field.
  • Proven experience managing field sales teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter with good time management skills.
  • Team player capable of collaborating effectively.
  • Robust, determined, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to handle conflicts confidently.
  • Excellent personal presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual skills are advantageous.
  • Educational attainment up to GCSE level.
  • Experience or knowledge of visiting retail outlets with a field sales team is preferred.
  • Proficient in IT systems including Word, Excel, and Email.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Remuneration:
  • Competitive annual salary with end-of-year bonus.
  • OTE £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
  • Vehicle allowance, business mobile phone, and laptop.
  • Auto-enrolment pension after 3 months.
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
  • Birthday vouchers and incentives.
