Our well-known client is looking for a National Business Development Manager to join their field-based team on a 12-month contract.
The role involves working closely with dealers to develop strong manufacturer/dealer partnerships, providing support and guidance to achieve mutual objectives.
This is a national, field-based role requiring a full driving license and the ability to travel nationally, including frequent overnight stays.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary link between dealers and the manufacturer, fostering proactive relationships at all levels.
- Develop medium- and long-term strategies to increase market share for the manufacturer’s products.
- Collaborate with high-performing robotic dealers to establish best practices.
- Organize regional dealer meetings for updates, training, and coaching.
- Promote HRGC Multi-Miimo pitch packages for RFU clubs.
- Coach ASMs on sales meetings regarding Miimo updates and sales practices.
- Assist dealers in creating 12-month sales and marketing plans to increase consideration and awareness.
- Familiarize with Miimo products when working with new dealers.
- Coordinate with branches on sales developments.
- Support the Corporate Sales Manager in securing major account sales.
- Work with Customer & Area Sales Managers to resolve complex customer issues.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Miimo features, benefits, and technical aspects for credible training (training provided).
- Provide in-dealer installation coaching.
- Manage and motivate dealer staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet divisional objectives.
- Plan and assist with local promotions, shows, and PR activities, leveraging national show programs.
- Aim to increase Miimo sales nationwide.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience (Required):
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven sales record and ability to meet targets.
- Team collaboration skills.
- Analytical skills for data presentation.
- Knowledge of dealer/distributor sector.
- Proficiency in Excel; intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the sector and competitor activity.
- Experience in a manufacturer/retail environment.
