Job description

As a National Account Executive, you will play an integral role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and maximising revenue opportunities for the business. You will ensure all customer leads are identified and generated, including those outside your region, demonstrating the Speedy values in all you do.

Responsibilities:

  1. Grow and develop your managed accounts in line with budget for revenue/debt and maximise all revenue opportunities.
  2. Ensure performance on sales discounts, bad debts, and all other KPIs are within agreed target levels.
  3. Prepare and provide sales performance reports as requested and by agreed deadlines.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
  5. Ensure the correct safety equipment is always worn/displayed when required.
  6. Support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

What you’ll need:

  • Commercial awareness.
  • Proven sales ability and managed account experience.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good planning and preparation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Commitment to self-development.
  • Driving licence.
