National Account Manager - Ecom, Amazon & Ocado

At PROPERSNACKS, we have a big plans to lead the way in snacking and this role will be crucial in expanding our presence further. The role will focus specifically on growing our E-commerce, Amazon and Ocado part of the business and establishing Eat Real and PROPER. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone who wants to see and feel the impact they’re making at work – for someone who is not just passionate about sales but about building long-lasting visibility for two powerful, challenger brands.

The Person

We are looking for a passionate salesperson, who’s looking for their next big challenge. They would ideally have a proven track record of managing a customer within eCommerce and driving growth through customer collaboration. They will have an entrepreneurial approach to their work - able to work independently and handle pace and ambiguity. Strong commercial acumen, a strategic mindset and proven ability to build strategic relationships, are essential. Finally, they will be proactive, results-driven, and energised by new opportunities and challenges.

The Role

As the National Account Manager - Ecommerce, you will be based out of our London office and will be responsible for managing and growing sales within our eCommerce customers primarily Amazon, Ocado and Ultra Convenience. Your role will involve relationship building, and hands-on execution to maximise sales opportunities and go after our ambitious global vision for the brands.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships both internally, especially with our product and supply chain teams and externally with our customers and co-manufacturing partners
  • Take full responsibility of the customer P&L as well as internal forecasting revenue and profit management
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and provide regular reports to drive strategic recommendations.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territories to expand our market presence.
  • Brand and marketing partnership: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with brand campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for trade spending, promotions, and other sales-related activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and in particular marketing, finance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and optimal product availability.
  • Create, agree upon, and have ongoing responsibility for Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with both Amazon and Ocado.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Experience managing and driving growth in eCommerce customers
  • Highly numerate, comfortable interpreting data sets and working in Excel
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with proven experience in P&L ownership
