About Our Client
Job Description

The National Account Manager - South (Consumer Goods Brands) will be responsible for the following:

  • Drive profitable growth across the southern region of the UK, managing relationships with trade partners and wholesalers for the professional / b2b channel.
  • Develop strong internal relationships across marketing, finance, supply chain, etc., to create strong working partnerships.
  • Manage and execute customer sales plans for wholesalers and trade partners, being responsible for the financial performance of each customer in the region.
  • Assess performance regularly and evaluate ROI for all promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Monitor relevant competitor activity and communicate insights within sales meetings, forecasting, and reporting.

This role is field-based with limited office time, requiring candidates to be motivated by remote working and to build face-to-face relationships with key customers.

The Successful Applicant

The candidate should have:

  • A track record in account management and/or business development within the consumer goods industry, preferably in consumer electronics, electrical goods, or health, beauty, and wellness products.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and enjoy field-based work.
  • Experience selling to wholesalers, trade sellers, professional trade channels, salons, etc.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and IT/Excel skills.

Ideally, candidates will be based centrally in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, with good access to the south region.
