IQVIA National Account Manager Job Description

IQVIA is seeking a passionate and driven National Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving or exceeding sales targets with key accounts and enhancing our client’s position with retailers. Your focus will be on growing sales contributions from specific key accounts annually, ensuring our brands are well-supported, and maintaining strong relationships with pre-wholesalers and wholesalers to ensure optimal product availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and develop strategic accounts across wholesale, pharmaceutical, and beauty sectors.
  2. Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Collaborate with marketing, wholesale, and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and meet sales objectives.
  4. Achieve or surpass sales targets for key accounts.
  5. Create promotional strategies to expand product offerings and sales.
  6. Negotiate prime shelf space within key accounts to boost brand visibility.
  7. Participate in meetings, trade shows, and events, including occasional evening and weekend commitments.
  8. Work with the E-commerce Manager to enhance the online platform.
  9. Conduct training sessions for pharmacists and staff.
  10. Monitor competitor products and market trends.
  11. Analyze sales data to identify new business opportunities.
  12. Oversee stock levels in wholesale depots and negotiate product ranges.
  13. Coordinate customer service activities with pre-wholesalers.
  14. Communicate effectively with the retail team to address issues and seize opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. A degree in science, business, or pharmacy is preferred.
  2. Completion of Professional Selling Skills is advantageous.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  4. At least two years of experience managing key accounts is required.
  5. Industry knowledge is highly desirable.
