Job Description:

Our client, a leading company in their sector, is seeking a National Account Manager to build and develop strong relationships with existing accounts, identify growth opportunities, and maximize sales from these accounts.

Primary Objectives:
  • Act as an interface between the company and the customer, establishing a high-profile and strong commercial relationship with the existing client database.
  • Proactively promote the company's range of products and services within the existing account database.
  • Provide regular, accurate forecasts of existing account development business and opportunities to the Head of Business Development.
  • Achieve the existing accounts' annual sales and margin targets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with the existing client database.
  • Identify and deliver additional growth opportunities by promoting the client's complete range of products and services to existing key contacts and into new departments.
  • Develop and execute the account development sales strategy and prospecting plan.
  • Identify and prioritize key targets and sales opportunities within the existing accounts database and implement customer engagement and business development plans.
  • Create activities to generate sales pipeline and close opportunities to meet sales and margin targets.
  • Maintain the sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing.
  • Maintain high activity levels to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales Support and Marketing teams to raise awareness of the company's capabilities.
  • Liaise with customers on quotations and pricing advice.
  • Provide regular reports on pipeline, prospecting activities, and actions to win incremental business.
