National Account Controller-Global powerhouse in the drinks industry!

This role is perfect for a strategic, entrepreneurial leader who thrives on building strong partnerships, leading high performing teams, and driving real impact in the fast paced world of the UK On Trade.

The Role:

The National Account Controller will take ownership of some of the biggest national customer relationships, including LWC and C&C Group, leading the charge on commercial performance, brand growth, and customer strategy.

With the broadest commercial scope in the On Trade channel, this role demands exceptional relationship building, leadership, and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop customer relationships, building strong joint business plans and long term partnerships.

Manage a large team, delivering against net revenue, commercial targets, and team development goals.

Drive growth by expanding distribution, increasing rate of sale, and delivering flawless brand execution.

Own the customer P&L, ensuring investment is tracked and delivering strong returns.

Deliver annual commercial, promotional, activation, and reciprocal growth plans.

Use customer data insights to continually refine and enhance account strategies.

Champion innovation and bring passion for brands to every customer interaction.

The Person:

  • Proven track record of commercial delivery and strategic leadership.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and inspiring teams.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing ability.
  • Deep understanding of the UK On-Trade market, wholesale, and RTM dynamics.
  • The ability to build powerful internal and external networks.
  • A love for world class brands and the creativity to bring them to life in market
