Job summary

OFG Education is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher for Red Kite School in Princes Risborough. You will plan and deliver engaging music lessons, adapt teaching to meet diverse learner needs, and monitor progress within a supportive multi-disciplinary team. This role focuses on creativity, resilience and student development.

The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience. Start is November 2026, permanent term-time only. UK applicants only.

Qualifications

  • Holds a recognised teaching qualification and QTS or equivalent.
  • Has experience planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Is passionate about Music and inspiring young people through creative learning.
  • Can effectively differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
  • Has strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
  • Experience with children within an education setting.
  • SEN experience would be an advantage.
  • Remains calm, resilient and adaptable when supporting students with additional needs and challenging behaviours.

Red Kite School is an independent special school for up to 60 young people aged 11-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Opened in September 2024, the school is located in the beautiful market town of Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.
