Blackburn College is seeking a Lecturer in Music to join the Music Team. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across music units at levels 2 and 3, with support from the Curriculum Leader.

You will bring a UK Honours degree in Music and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, plus experience with Logic and studio environments to support HE progression.

Qualifications

• UK Honours degree in Music.
• PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience using industry-standard software for music sequencing, recording/production and post-production (Logic).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high teaching, learning and assessment standards on courses including music units at levels 2 and 3.
• Support and work with the Music Team and Curriculum Leader.
• Contribute to HE progression context, theory and requirements.
