Blackburn College is seeking a Lecturer in Music to support the Music Team in delivering high-quality teaching and assessment on level 2 and 3 courses. The role requires a UK Honours degree in Music and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, with experience using Logic Pro in a studio or rehearsal setting.

You will support and work alongside the Music Team and Curriculum Leader in delivering a high standard of teaching, learning and assessment on a range of courses including music units at level 2 & 3.
You must have a UK Honours degree or UK ENIC degree in a Music and a PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification. You will also have sound knowledge and experience of using industry standard software for music sequencing, recording/production and post-production using Logic. In addition, you should have experience of working within a recording studio and/or rehearsal environment and strong technical knowledge of the music industry including context, theory and requirements for HE progression.
