Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking a Lecturer in Music to support and work alongside the Music Team and Curriculum Leader, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment on music courses at levels 2 and 3.

The appointee will use Logic Pro and other industry-standard software, with experience in recording studios or rehearsal environments, and contribute to HE progression. The post offers a pro rata salary with a range and a variety of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• UK Honours degree (in Music) or UK ENIC equivalent.
• PGCE or recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience with industry-standard software for music sequencing, recording/production and post-production using Logic.
• Experience in recording studio or rehearsal environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of the music industry and HE progression.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching, learning and assessment for music courses.
• Support Music Team and Curriculum Leader in programme delivery.
