Blackburn College is seeking a Lecturer in Music to support and work alongside the Music Team and Curriculum Leader, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment on music courses at levels 2 and 3.
The appointee will use Logic Pro and other industry-standard software, with experience in recording studios or rehearsal environments, and contribute to HE progression. The post offers a pro rata salary with a range and a variety of staff benefits.
£28,273 - £42,655 gross per annum pro rata
You will support and work alongside the Music Team and Curriculum Leader in delivering a high standard of teaching, learning and assessment on a range of courses including music units at level 2 & 3.
You must have a UK Honours degree or UK ENIC degree in a Music and a PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification. You will also have sound knowledge and experience of using industry standard software for music sequencing, recording/production and post-production using Logic. In addition, you should have experience of working within a recording studio and/or rehearsal environment and strong technical knowledge of the music industry including context, theory and requirements for HE progression.
