Access Education Group in London is seeking a dedicated Music Lecturer to inspire students across theory, history, performance and technology. You will deliver engaging teaching within a dynamic FE/HE environment, shaping learners' understanding and confidence in pursuing musical paths.

You will design courses, assess work, mentor students and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards and ensure an inclusive, innovative learning experience.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Music or a closely related subject; postgraduate qualification desirable.
  • Proven teaching experience in a higher education or further education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory, history, performance and contemporary music technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Experience in curriculum design and assessment practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a collaborative academic environment.

Role Overview

You will play a pivotal role in shaping students’ understanding of music theory, history, performance, and technology, ensuring they develop the skills and confidence to succeed in their musical pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications & Experience
