Job summary

Coventry College is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to lead the Music curriculum, delivering Level 2 and Level 3 Music Performance. You will join a team of dedicated staff in a forward-thinking Further Education environment, supporting learners with high expectations and industry relevance.

The role requires a degree in Music or a related discipline, a teaching qualification or willingness to gain one, and commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Must hold a relevant Degree in Music or a relevant discipline.
• Must have Level 2 English and Maths.
• Be familiar with COSHH and Health and Safety regulations.
• Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

Our Music curriculum area offers a range of courses in Level 2 and Level 3 Music Performance. Successful applicants must have relevant prior experience working within education settings and be able to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and behaviours for the role., Must-Have:

• Hold a relevant Degree in Music or a relevant discipline, including Level 2 English and Maths
• Be familiar with COSSH and Health and Safety regulations
• Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
